Side Sync is a feature by Samsung  via installation of Side Sync apps. There are three main functions of Side Sync.

Firstly, this enable an easy connection to any of your android devices to your laptop. Not only that, it can automatically acts as a backup for your mobile content into your PC. Best of all, it can also charge your Android phone as you sync without losing any battery juice.  

Secondly, with the connection performed via Side Sync, your pointing mouse works on both of the connected devices, as if sharing a same big screen. Hence you can share files between your favourite Android devices and the Samsung laptop, just by drag and drop method.

Thirdly , the link enabled two connected devices to share the same screem When your devices are connected, you can see your smart phone screen on your PC screen. You can just operate your mobile device with your PC keyboard, and enjoy smart phone programs like Pen Mode.

Performance

Although this laptop is not powered by the latest Intel Haswell processor, this one has already packed enough processing power for all your daily needs.
